Butterhead lettuce is Bibb-type lettuce that forms a tight little rosette of soft, light-green, upward-facing leaves surrounding a tender, pale center perfect for sandwiches and wraps. Our lettuce heads are raised in a clean indoor hydroponics system, so no pesticides/sprays are ever used. The gourmet heads are more flavorful than conventional lettuce, making it an ideal component in any salad or sandwich.
Each order contains 1 head of Butterhead Lettuce
All lettuce heads are harvested on the day of delivery, with their roots attached to help extend shelf life and to ensure the highest nutrient content and freshest produce possible.
